Unlike basic industry connectors, these connectors act as comprehensive device agents that handle everything behind the scenes: automatically communicating in the native protocols of each instrument, handling all of the idiosyncrasies between each device, and continuously tracking device updates with second-by-second Heartbeat monitoring.
