San Diego — Feb. 27, 2024 — In a Pharma industry first from the floor of Pittcon this week, Phizzle will remotely operate both a Beckman Coulter and a Climet air particle counter at the same time via a single user interface. "We're doing this live, in-person from the floor of Pittcon — because we want our GMP customers to see the power of a software-defined architecture at work," said Jackson Williams, Phizzle demonstration engineer. "Our Pharma customers are looking for standardization and don't want to be held hostage by one vendor's architecture, which is why we are showing two different APCs from two different brands."
Phizzle's Digital Air platform is the only software-defined solution to automate data capture from APCs used in GMP/ISO environments such as Pharma and semiconductor manufacturing, finally making it possible to remotely operate air particle counters from multiple manufacturers. Digital Air is based on the same software deployed in an FDA-approved use case at a top 5 pharma manufacturer producing one of the top-selling cancer drugs in the world.
The introduction of Beckman Coulter air particle counters to the Phizzle APC portfolio also marks another step towards complete coverage of the APC market and a standardized software experience for lab technicians.
